So my YouTube account has been shut down, due to copyright infringement. Yes, that’s right. I didn’t have permission to show you all those clips in the reviews. Apparently the studios got upset.
I think this is monumentally stupid, on their part. I run a movie blog. That means I’m drawing attention to movies. Which means the studios make money because of me. And the clips I show are a) less than five minutes long, and b) of such extremely terrible quality, there’s no way one could possibly watch the clips on this site instead of the movie.
Jay Leno does it. AV Club does it. The only difference is, they have permission, because they’re big and important. I’m little. But I’m going to keep doing it.
I set up a new YouTube account. The clips will continue. Until I get caught again.
